With all the advancements brought to us by the digital age, it can be hard to imagine actual artists painting actual murals by hand. stingray’s team designs and paints large scale murals using many of the same techniques as Michaelangelo. In our studio, artists paint on canvases to be stretched and framed, or applied like wallpaper thousands of miles away. We also send teams on location around the world to paint directly onto building surfaces. In 2006, a stingray team of four artists completed 15 outdoor murals in 2 1/2 weeks in the blazing Kansas 100-degree heat. We barely broke a sweat!
